Editorial policy
Agent athens combines automated data collection, AI enrichment and human oversight to provide reliable cultural event information.
Data sources
We collect events from more than 15 verified sources, including:
- Venue websites (Half Note, Megaron Moussikis, Onassis Stegi, Benaki Museum and others)
- Ticketing platforms (Ticket Services, More.com, Eventbrite)
- Cultural listings (Athinorama, Resident Advisor)
Each source is cited explicitly on the event page, with a link to the original listing.
AI enrichment methodology
Enriched descriptions are produced through a strict process:
- AI receives only real data from sources — it does not fabricate information
- Each description follows a standardised 8-section structure with minimum and maximum lengths
- The system automatically checks for geographic accuracy, temporal consistency and price validity
- Access information (metro, buses, parking) is drawn from a verified venue knowledge base
Quality control
Every event passes through multiple levels of verification:
- Location filter: Only Attica venues, verified via a venue whitelist
- Data validation: Automated verification of dates, prices and core fields
- Quality gates: Enriched descriptions are checked for factual accuracy — no information is fabricated
- Human oversight: Regular sample reviews and quality-rule audits
No-fabrication policy
We are committed to ensuring that no information in our descriptions is fabricated. If something cannot be verified from primary sources, it is not included. This applies especially to ticket prices, start times and venues.
Updates
The calendar is updated daily at 08:00 Athens time. Past events are removed automatically, while running exhibitions remain until their end date.
