Zesti Sokolata me ton Pikaso is a children's theater piece at the Goulandris Museum in Pangrati, Athens, on 13 March 2026 at 11:00. Upstairs, a Picasso hangs on the wall. Downstairs in the amphitheater, three actors introduce children to the painter who made it.
Written and directed by Notis Paraskevopoulos, the sixty-minute production sends a young girl into a dream where two comedic figures from Picasso's paintings guide her through his life and work. The audience is ages four and up.
If your child needs constant action and noise, the pacing here is built around discovery rather than spectacle. But if you want a first encounter with modern art that arrives through story rather than wall text, this is the door.
The Goulandris Museum is at Eratosthenous 13 in Pangrati. Tickets EUR 12 through more.com.
The museum's permanent collection includes Cézanne, Van Gogh, Monet, and the painter your child just met onstage.
