Aligatores is a psychological drama at Auditorium in central Athens, running through 31 March 2026. Andrew Keatley's play follows a university professor whose career and marriage collapse when a former student accuses him of sexual abuse.
Giannis Laspias translates and directs, with Gerasimos Gennatas as the professor and Fayi Xyla as his wife. The script moves through accusation, media frenzy, and the gap between allegation and proof — one hundred minutes without interval.
If you want tidy answers about guilt or innocence, the play withholds them. If you want to sit inside a public unravelling, this cast holds the tension without flinching.
Auditorium is at Sina 2, accessible by metro from Panepistimio station. Curtain at 21:00. Tickets 15-18 EUR.
