The Skyline Matraville drive-in in suburban Sydney closed in 1984. Forty-two years later, Alexandros Voulgaris (working under his musician-director alias The Boy) rebuilds it indoors on the Μικρή Σκηνή at Onassis Stegi.

Alexandros Voulgaris has never traveled to Australia. So he built one — and for three nights in June he installs it across every stage, corridor, and foyer of the Onassis Stegi.
Divas Drive Trio
What it is: a jazz trio that trades the usual rhythm section for a harp. At Spiti Art Bar — the small Kerameikos room that calls itself a living room more than a club — Divas Drive Trio pairs Liza Lebesi's voice with Sotiris Chouto's guitar and Irene Tabour's harp, working jazz standards in a blues- and ethnic-tinged, post-hard-bop register. Why it matters: the harp gives familiar standards a different foundation — plucked and resonant where you would expect an upright bass — and Lebesi teaches jazz voice in Athens. What to expect: a close-quarters Friday night, the front tables an arm's length from the players.

DISMISS
What it is: a record-release show. DISMISS — the five-piece Athens rock 'n' roll band working since 2021 — play their debut album Funeral Fund at Ilion Plus, sharing the bill with Grim Puppet and Valeria. Why it matters: this is the night Funeral Fund leaves the streaming feed for a stage.

A Greek island, 1965: summer arrivals, tangled flirtations, and a glamorous Greek-American woman who turns up wanting to buy the place for tourism. Tou agoriou apenanti is a musical set to the melodies of Mimis Plessas, written by Michalis Reppas and Thanasis Papathanassiou — the duo behind a generation of Greek stage and screen comedy — and directed by Yorgos Mourikis. This is large-format summer theatre: a cast led by Alexandros Georgoulis and Yorgos Tsimitselis, an eight-piece orchestra and a twenty-strong ballet, across 150 minutes.

What began as a spontaneous meeting between singer Magda Varouha and musician Christos Adamopoulos grew into *Akomplex-Arista*, one of the more talked-about live shows on the Greek circuit. On 5 June it reaches Technopolis in Gazi for the first time. The two trade a program of Greek song with no fixed lane — their own material, unexpected covers, and swapped roles between voice and instrument.
