Περιγραφή στα Αγγλικά
Anna, a 1960s Athens actress, sits across from a young journalist in her own living room. A memoir opens the door to 1930s Alexandria — the forbidden romance, the Greek cultural flourishing, the social pressures that ended it. Agni Mascha plays Anna, leading a cast of eight that moves between the two decades.
Fokas Evangelinos directs from an original script by Zeti Fitsiou, whose credits include Kelyfos and Mavres politeies. The score is by Evanthia Reboutsika — her work on A Touch of Spice took the State Prize at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, and her score for Babam ve Oglum won the 2006 World Soundtrack Award at Ghent. Lyrics by Aris Davaraki.
If you want a short chamber piece, this runs 150 minutes. But if a two-era memory play inside a 1,500-seat historic hall is what you came for, Pallas fits the scale.
Inside the CityLink block at Voukourestiou 5, two minutes from Syntagma metro. Tickets from 18 EUR, curtain at 15:00.
Maria Callas sang on this stage during the 1940s.
