Η ΣΥΓΚΑΤΟΙΚΟΣ

Περιγραφή στα Αγγλικά

Theatro Peiraios 131 hands its Mondays and Tuesdays — the nights most Athens stages go dark — to «Η ΣΥΓΚΑΤΟΙΚΟΣ», the Greek premiere of Jen Silverman's The Roommate. Sharon, divorced and anchored in Iowa, needs a housemate for the bills; Robyn arrives from the Bronx with a past that will not stay packed. The play's 2024 Broadway run paired Mia Farrow with Patti LuPone at the Booth Theatre; here Marina Aslanoglou and Gogo Brebou share the house, directed by Vicky Volioti in Filippos Desyllas' translation, with sets and costumes by Marita Amorgianou and lighting by Simos Sarketzis.

If you want spectacle, this is 90 minutes with two actors and a house in Iowa. But if you like sitting in a crowd while a careful woman finds out what she is capable of, «Η ΣΥΓΚΑΤΟΙΚΟΣ» opens Monday 12 October 2026 at 20:00, a short walk from Kerameikos metro — tickets 16 to 20 EUR.

A first time in Greece, played on the week's quietest nights.
