Grace arrives in a town that closes behind her. Aris Biniaris stages Lars von Trier's «Dogville» at the Dimotiko Theatro Peiraia from 25 November 2026 — the story of a fugitive taken in by a small town whose charity hardens into ownership.

Biniaris directs from Christian Lollike's stage adaptation, in Antonis Galeou's translation with dramaturgy by Eri Kyrgia and original music by Theodoris Reglis; the ensemble cast includes Vangelio Andreadaki and Giorgos Symeonidis. His approach is rhythm-first — ritualistic, physical, deeply musical staging in which language turns into tremor and melody.

If you want a comfortable night out, von Trier's moral experiment is built to deny you one. If you want to watch a community talk itself into cruelty, «Dogville» premieres here for the 2026-27 season.
