Goa trance — the psychedelic subgenre from 1990s Goa, with a persistent Athens following — returns to IT Athens on Friday 24 April for Goa Generators. IT Athens sits on Solomou 30 in Exarchia, a twelve-minute walk from Omonoia metro, capacity around 250 and entry €8–15. The room tilts toward the neighbourhood's alternative electronic programming; Pulse Tribe Kollektiv runs regular nights here.

If you want a club with pop-facing DJs, goa operates at tempos and textures outside house and techno norms. But if you want all-night dancing built around layered psychedelic synths, Goa Generators holds that frequency for one Friday.
