ONX Showcase Athens 2026 is a four-day program of work made through Onassis ONX — the foundation's New York-based platform for artists in digital cultures, with its Athens hub at Onassis Ready. Seventeen artists and collectives present installations, animations, performances and interactive environments around the curatorial question "Where did the humans go?" — what happens to people when AI systems take over the work that used to define them.
The lineup spans Gabriel Barcia-Colombo, Andrew Thomas Huang, the Belgian collective Ontroerend Goed, and sister sylvester among others, working across sculpture, bio-art, holographic film and participatory performance. Onassis ONX has supported artists whose work has surfaced at SXSW, Sundance and Ars Electronica.
Onassis Ready is a converted plastics factory in Agios Ioannis Rentis — 3,760 square metres of restored industrial space that the foundation runs alongside Onassis Stegi. The Eleonas metro is roughly a twenty-five-minute walk; bus 838 stops about 300 metres from the door, and a taxi from the centre is the fastest call. Exhibitions, lectures and workshops are open admission with advance booking; performances cost €5. Sales opened 30 April.
If you want a single ticketed-and-timed museum visit with wall text, this is structured the other way — the showcase runs Thursday through Sunday, with evening hours 18:00–23:00 and a Saturday daytime block 10:30–16:00 for lectures and workshops, and the full program is meant to be sampled across several visits.
