Nikos Thanos
B side houses the Cannibal Radio studio. Nikos Thanos has coordinated that station and its members since 2013 — so this is less a booking than a man playing records in his own building. Thanos is an Athens DJ who joined Cannibal Radio in 2009 and still hosts a show there, Grid, on a station run around the clock by the collective that founded it.
Mayans with Red Axes I Thu July 23
Mayans drops its fourth July night on Thursday July 23, 2026: the Tel Aviv duo Red Axes — Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi — take Bolivar's seafront decks from 21:00 through 05:00. Red Axes have been mining the seam between post-punk, psychedelic rock, and dance music since 2010, building their own Garzen Records imprint from 2016 onward. The Mayans series at Bolivar runs five nights this July with Themba, Anna, Nick Warren, Red Axes, and Max Styler — the format is a single international name plus the beach all the way to sunrise. Thursday-night Bolivar runs late by mid-week standards — book the taxi back from Alimos before you commit, and write off Friday morning.
KAS:ST I Anfisa Letyago I Fri July 24
A double-bill pairing KAS:ST — the techno duo whose collaborators include Artbat, Gordo, and Moby — with Anfisa Letyago, the Naples-based DJ-producer whose hypnotic sets have circled the global festival circuit. Bolivar Beach Bar in Alimos marks its 22nd-anniversary summer with another run of international techno on the Saronic Gulf coast. Letyago and KAS:ST occupy adjacent territory — melodic, atmospheric techno that holds tension across long sets — making the pairing less a clash than a continuous arc through the night.
ACN with 3.14 // Katra
There is no sign on the building — you find Astron by the windows shaking on Leoforos Konstantinoupoleos. ACN, the club's own Astron Club Nights series, hands this night to 3.14, who returns weeks after playing Astron Fest, alongside resident Katra, a vinyl collector whose sets pull toward hypnotic, psychedelic techno.
Purple Night x SMUT
One night, two queer dance institutions on the same floor: Purple Night, the roaming LGBTQI+ party series steered by residents The Dreamer, Wrapped in Plastic and Dennis D'or, takes over SMUT at Vatsaxi 4 on Friday 24 July 2026, from 23:59. Purple Night built its crowd by moving venue to venue across Athens; SMUT answers with a ~300-capacity techno room where the queer community sets the terms, week after week. The door is the ritual: creative or fetish attire is expected, and an RA ticket (15-20 EUR) buys priority, not guaranteed entry. Dress deliberately, arrive before the room fills, and treat the dance floor as the point.
CamelPhat I Sat July 25 I Bolivar
Bolivar Beach Bar takes its Saturday night to CamelPhat — the Liverpool duo of Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala, whose melodic house has held a steady place between mainstream radio and the underground for the past decade. This is the back-to-back-international slot at Bolivar's anniversary summer — Anfisa Letyago and KAS:ST landed on Friday, CamelPhat closes the weekend on the Saronic shore. Bolivar's 2025 summer ran Tale Of Us, Boris Brejcha, and Sven Väth; CamelPhat fits that tier.
KHIDI x SMUT with Boyd Schidt,NEUX,Vulkanski
KHIDI is the techno club tucked under a bridge on Tbilisi's river embankment, and its name travels with a specific kind of hard, textural sound. This edition of SMUT's recurring KHIDI takeover skips the marquee guest and hands one night entirely to the club's own Tbilisi residents — Boyd Schidt, Neux, and Vulkanski, the last working in dark techno, IDM, and broken beats.
Mayans with Max Styler I Thu 30 July
Mayans is the Thursday slot at Bolivar Beach Club — a format built on tribal-edged tech house and the Saronic gulf at your back. On 30 July 2026, the booth goes to Max Styler, who fuses indie dance with tech house. The room sits on Akti Iliou in Alimos, two decades in, no metro — taxi or rideshare only.
