Coma x SMUT with DJ Nobu, Rrose, JERM
CoMA, the Athens techno series run by JERM, joins the queer club SMUT for one night and hands the booth to DJ Nobu. Nobu founded Future Terror in Chiba in 2000 and runs the Bitta label; his sets fuse punk roots with hard-edged, hallucinogenic techno.
Pre-Techniques: Richie Hawtin
Pre-Techniques opens the autumn techno season at Universe, the converted industrial multivenue out in Egaleo, with Richie Hawtin headlining the first night of the series' new cycle — a warm-up flare ahead of Techniques 2026. Hawtin built much of minimal techno's modern vocabulary: the Plastikman alias, the Plus 8 and Minus labels, and the DE9 mix series that treated the DJ set as studio-grade editing. His CLOSE shows fold live performance into the booth. The 23:00 start is no accident for a room this size.
SOLACE PRELUDE
SOLACE returns to Universe with its Prelude — the late-night opener that sets up the main SOLACE day event to follow. Doors at 23:59 on 24 October tell you the shape of the night: this one runs into the morning. SOLACE built its name as a fashion-forward rave with community at its centre, a night where Athens's queer, FLINTA and gender-diverse crowd takes the floor on its own terms.
Yanamaste x SMUT x ALL NIGHT LONG
SMUT hands its entire night to one DJ. Yanamaste, the Tbilisi techno producer and KHIDI resident, plays all night long at the queer club on Vatsaxi 4 — one set stretched across the hours, not a relay of guests. That length is the point: Yanamaste builds and resets instead of racing to a peak, working between deep rhythms, funky drum patterns and roughed-up textures.
VLCT ZERO x SIGNAL 12 HOURS w/ Function, Philippa Pacho, BLANKA
One night, twelve hours, one 200-capacity room: VLCT ZERO x SIGNAL is a marathon techno session at Aux Club in Gazi, Athens, on Tuesday 27 October 2026 — the eve of the 28 October holiday. Function — David Sumner of Sandwell District and Infrastructure New York — plays alongside Berlin-based Swede Philippa Pacho and BLANKA; all three were on the bill of SIGNAL's postponed spring festival. VLCT ZERO is Velocity's long-form format, sets that stretch rather than peak. Aux Club is a short walk from Kerameikos metro.
EDEN presents Nicole Moudaber & Grace Dahl
Doors at 17:30 on a Sunday, because EDEN's premise is that techno doesn't need the middle of the night. On 22 November 2026 EDEN brings Nicole Moudaber and Grace Dahl to the Athens Conservatoire, a short walk from Evangelismos metro.
Deerislnd - From Silence to Sound
Deerislnd presents "From Silence to Sound" at Couleur Locale in Athens on December 5, 2026, starting at 18:00. This electronic event brings conceptual programming to one of Athens' venues with distinctive character. "From Silence to Sound" as concept suggests programming exploring transitions and emergence, possibly building from ambient beginnings to more active engagement. Couleur Locale provides setting for events combining electronic music with thoughtful presentation.
SONIC SISTERS FESTIVAL
Sonic Sisters Festival returns to Daddy's All Day Bar in Psyri on Sunday 7 February 2027 — doors 20:30, open admission, an evening of women selectors shaping Athens's electronic music culture. Founded in March 2026 by Ladydust, the alias of Marina Tsigonaki and host of Athens Free Radio's Planet Ladydust, the festival threads its lineup into one unbroken sound arc rather than parallel slots — rock bleeds into electronica, dark disco pivots to synth.
