George Kontrafouris Piano Quartet

George Kontrafouris Piano Quartet plays Spiti Art Bar in Kerameikos on 17 April 2026. Four musicians fill a room small enough to hear the piano's damper pedal lift — Kontrafouris at the keys, Eleftheria Papaiconomou on vocals, Nikoleta Floumi on double bass, Jason Waster on drums — and you hear them listening to each other between phrases.

Kontrafouris trained at the Sibelius Academy and has spent three decades in Greek jazz, playing alongside Arild Andersen, David Liebman, and Benny Golson.
