«When Love...»
Eight songs carry one woman from the first sight of the man she will marry, through the wedding and the child, to the silence after his death. That is Robert Schumann's "Frauenliebe und -leben," and it anchors this recital at the Megaron, where singer Eftychia Giannakakou and pianist Dimitris Giakas set a German song cycle beside the French mélodie and let the two traditions circle the same subject. Giakas is a recurring presence on the Megaron's song-recital programs, the pianist Greek singers turn to when an evening lives on the partnership between voice and keyboard rather than on volume.
Noga Erez
Three months after becoming the first Israeli singer to headline Coachella, Noga Erez brings her three-piece live setup — herself on vocals, Ori Rousso on synths and samples, Ran Jacobovitz on electronic drums — to Technopolis's open-air yard on 21 July. Her sound since the 2017 debut album Off the Radar has stayed hard to pin down: alternative pop built on sample-based hip-hop structures, carrying political undercurrents she doesn't soften for a live crowd.
Sunset Frequencies
At 20:00 the light goes long and low across the Canal at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, the strip of water that runs the length of the Renzo Piano building down toward the sea. This is the hour Sunset Frequencies is built around — a set timed to the exact minutes the day gives out, with the city's pace loosening behind you. On 22 July that set belongs to George Florakis.
Monsieur Minimal
Monsieur Minimal plays the Gazarte Roof Stage in Gazi, Athens, on 23 July 2026 — a concert on the terrace where the Acropolis sits lit behind the skyline. You arrive as the light drops over the rooftops and the first melody carries across the tables. This is the second of two Thursday-night dates, 16 and 23 July, built around Mousikos Deipnos ("Musical Dinner"), the collaborative album that is his eighth.
GODSMACK
The opening riff lands with physical weight—not delicate, not ambiguous, but a statement of presence delivered with the confidence of a band that's spent three decades proving they belong in the conversation. Godsmack takes the Lycabettus stage, and suddenly the hill becomes a space where groove-based heavy music reveals its power.

La Traviata returns to the Greek National Opera's Stavros Niarchos Hall on 23 July, twenty-five years after Nikos S. Petropoulos's original staging first opened — a production that has since toured to China and Thessaloniki.
Sabaton
Sabaton close Release Athens 2026 on 25 July, four years after the Swedish power-metal band first played this open-air ground at Plateia Nerou. They headline a heavy bill that also brings Savatage back to Athens after years away, alongside Dutch symphonic-metal act Epica. The set lands on the "Legends" tour — the band's eleventh album — which pairs the new material with the war-history anthems Sabaton built its name on: massed choruses, pyrotechnics, a crowd that sings every hook back. Plateia Nerou is Release Athens' coastal open-air site on the Faliro front; the 18:30 start means the sun is still on the crowd when the first band plays.
RELEASE ATHENS 2026
Release Athens 2026 closes on 25 July with a concert at Plateia Nerou on the Faliro coast, Athens — Sabaton headlining, with Savatage and Epica on the open-air ground. Gates from 18:00, and the bill runs into the night as the coast cools. This is the festival's final night, and Sabaton returns four years after their first show on this same seafront stage.
