Dirty Granny Tales

Dirty Granny Tales is a theatrical concert at ARCH Club on Petrou Ralli 29, where puppets share the stage with mandolins and the audience watches a dark fairy tale performed live. Founded in Athens in 2005 by Stavros Mitropoulos — former member of Greek black metal acts Varathron and Horrified — the group layers acoustic instruments, hand-operated puppetry, dance, and animation into a show that feels like a gothic cabaret. Influences span from Manos Hadjidakis to Danny Elfman to black metal, and musicians become characters mid-song.

If you need concerts predictable and seated, this runs on its own logic. But if you want a puppet show that sounds like a requiem, the door opens at 20:30 on March 5.
