In Motion: Ena Agalma Pou To 'Skase is a children's theater production at Dimotiko Theatro Peiraia in Piraeus, Athens, on 3 March 2026. A girl rounds a corner and finds a statue staring back at her — except this one moves.
Directed by Danae Mega, the production transforms the theater into a walkable museum where young audiences follow Seline, a small art collector, and Bien, a statue that escaped its pedestal chasing fame. Nicole Economidou's set design turns corridors into galleries and shadows into stories. Original music by Mikes Glykas scores each discovery.
If your children need screens and special effects to stay engaged, this trades all of that for proximity and imagination. But if they light up when objects come alive in their hands, this production meets them where they already play.
Dimotiko Theatro metro station sits directly below the venue. Curtain at 11:00, Sundays. Ages four and up. Tickets through more.com.
The statue escaped once and has not gone back.
