The 3rd Greek Beer Festival is a festival at Palio Amaxostasio OSY in Gazi, Athens, from 27 to 29 March 2026. Three nights of Greek craft beer and live music inside a retired bus depot on Pireos — each night carries a different lineup and a different corner of the Greek music map.
The festival pairs independent Greek breweries with a three-night concert bill that moves from hip-hop and Thracian punk through reggae to Cretan roots. Night one opens with Pyrini Lailapa, a hip-hop crew that weaves rembetika into their production, alongside Thrax Punks — a band that puts gaidas and daoulis next to electric guitars, drawing from sources as far apart as The Clash and Markos Vamvakaris. Night two brings Walkman the Band, whose repertoire of over a thousand songs spans 80s disco to 60s rock, followed by Locomondo — Greece's most established reggae band, the only Greek group to have recorded in Jamaica, fronted by Markos Koumaris across eight albums. Night three closes with Nikos Zoidakis, a Cretan lyra player from Chania who first picked up the instrument at age nine.
| Aspect | Details | |--------|---------| | Setting | Industrial depot on Pireos, Gazi | | Vibe | Festival-scale, three nights, standing | | Sound | Hip-hop, punk-folk, reggae, Cretan roots | | Door | TBA |
You share the depot with people who know the difference between a lager and a weizen and argue about hop profiles with the same conviction they bring to lineup debates. Craft beer collectors working through tasting flights, concert regulars who follow Locomondo between cities, and Gazi residents who walked over from Kerameikos.
If you want a quiet tasting room with curated pairings, this is a concert inside a bus depot with beer. But if you want to hold a craft glass while Thrax Punks play gaidas alongside electric guitars on night one and Locomondo plays reggae on night two, the depot is open.
Palio Amaxostasio OSY is on Pireos in Gazi, a short walk from Kerameikos metro. Check event listings for ticket prices and schedule.
Three nights, three lineups, one depot — the buses left, the music moved in.
