Twelve women photographers hang outdoors on the perimeter of Stavros Niarchos Park. Έκθεση φωτογραφίας: ΜΑΖΙ, ΟΡΑΤΕΣ — Together, Visible — is not a gallery show: the MOMUS–Museum of Photography Thessaloniki has taken work by twelve women photographers from its permanent collection and mounted it in the open along the park's edge at the SNFCC (ΚΠΙΣΝ), where you meet it mid-stride, between the runners and the stroller traffic.
Curated by Antonis Vlachos and Maria Kechagoglou as part of the WOW — Women of the World Athens 2026 festival, the selection moves through identity, memory, the body, social roles, migration, visibility and belonging. Olga Stefatou, Fani Sarri, Katerina Tsakiri, Iliana Meintani and Athena Chroni are among the twelve, all drawn from the Thessaloniki museum's holdings — a collection crossing the country to be seen on foot in Athens.
There is no ticket desk and no opening hours beyond the park's own. The photographs stand in daylight for anyone who passes, and the perimeter placement sets a natural viewing rhythm: start anywhere, keep walking, and the images keep arriving. The crowd is whoever the park produces at that hour — which is the point of Mazi, Orates: these photographers are shown together, in public, rather than filed away in an archive.
If you want climate control, wall text and a catalogue, this is the opposite proposition. But if you want photography that shares a footpath with everyday Athens, the walk is open to everyone.
Entry is open. The SNFCC is not on the metro — reach it by tram down the coast, the free shuttle from central Athens, or a bus along Syngrou. The run is limited: it closes on 30 August 2026, which leaves under three weeks to walk it. After that, the photographs return to Thessaloniki.
