**What is it?** A tribute to Nina Simone from saxophonist Gilad Atzmon and his quartet, with vocalist Tali Atzmon out front, at Theatre of the No — the roughly hundred-seat English-speaking theater opposite City Hall near Syntagma.

**Why it matters.** Atzmon founded the Orient House Ensemble in 2000 and has spent two decades moving between jazz, blues, and the music of the eastern Mediterranean. Here the quartet turns to Simone's catalogue — the songbook she made a vehicle for civil rights, equality, and freedom.

**What to expect.** A small room, a saxophone, and a singer working through material built to unsettle as much as to soothe. Doors at 21:30; admission €15.
