Forty years ago, Age of Quarrel turned New York hardcore into a template the rest of the world copied. On 28 July, the Cro-Mags bring that album's fortieth anniversary to ARCH Club — the collision of hardcore-punk speed and metal riffing that shaped crossover for good.

Formed around Manhattan's squats, the Cro-Mags built Age of Quarrel (1986) into one of the genre's defining records. A full-album anniversary set is a rare booking, and this is a pit-oriented band playing a room made for it.

ARCH Club is a standing venue on Petrou Ralli, with no metro at the door — plan a taxi or bus. Doors open 20:30, early-bird tickets ran €24.
