Sanctuary — Lenny Rutledge's US power-metal band — plays Athens' Piraeus Club Academy in Gazi on 22 April at 20:00. It is their first Athens tour date since the release of "Not Of The Living," the first new Sanctuary single since Warrel Dane's 2017 death.

Founding guitarist Rutledge brings Sanctuary's current lineup — Joseph Michael on vocals, George Hernandez on bass, Dave Budbill on drums — through the catalog that made them a Seattle-scene pillar in the late 1980s. Darklon opens.

Doors 20:00, EUR 30 / EUR 25. Upper tier VIP-only; standard ticket puts you on the main floor with the metal crowd. This tour date falls early in the BLKIIBLK cycle.
