Ta Genethlia tis Ririkas is a musical children's theater production at Theatro Metaxourgeio on Akadimou 14, Athens, on 9 April 2026 at 12:00. Maria Kilaidoni wrote the original book and composed the music. Yassemi Kilaidoni directs. Ages two to ten.

A small bear named Ririka wakes up on her birthday — the first she will spend alone after moving to a new mountain. She heads to the city for pistachio ice cream from the best shop in the world and meets twin hedgehogs, a crocodile pastry chef, musician lions, and a kangaroo dancer along the way. The ice cream shop is closed. What follows is a lesson in friendship delivered through puppetry and original songs.

If your children need constant action, the 55-minute pace may not hold them. But if they follow a story where characters solve problems together, this is their afternoon.
