Mathame — Italian brothers Amedeo and Matteo Giovanelli — bring their melodic-techno catalogue to Island Athens Riviera for a Sunday-evening set, 18:00 start on the Varkiza clifftop.

The Milan duo released their first track on Afterlife in 2016, the year Tale Of Us founded the label; their EPs 'For Every Forever' and 'Nothing Around Us' became reference points for the melodic-techno wave the imprint built. An 18:00 door is unusually early for a club show — Island is taking the sun-on-the-water window seriously.

Expect long-form builds and the upper-register synth language that defines the Afterlife house style, played on a whitewashed open-air terrace that tumbles toward the Saronic Gulf. Island runs only through summer.
