What it is: a jazz trio that trades the usual rhythm section for a harp. At Spiti Art Bar — the small Kerameikos room that calls itself a living room more than a club — Divas Drive Trio pairs Liza Lebesi's voice with Sotiris Chouto's guitar and Irene Tabour's harp, working jazz standards in a blues- and ethnic-tinged, post-hard-bop register.

Why it matters: the harp gives familiar standards a different foundation — plucked and resonant where you would expect an upright bass — and Lebesi teaches jazz voice in Athens.

What to expect: a close-quarters Friday night, the front tables an arm's length from the players. Spiti sits on Eupatridon in Kerameikos, minutes from Kerameikos metro.
