Dirty Granny Tales is a theatrical concert at ARCH Club on Petrou Ralli 29 in Tavros, Athens, on March 5. You watch a puppet raise a mandolin bow and realize something between a fairy tale and a funeral is about to start.

Founded in Athens in 2005 by Stavros Mitropoulos — former member of Greek black metal acts Varathron and Horrified — the group layers acoustic instruments, hand-operated puppetry, dance, and animation into a gothic cabaret. Influences span from Manos Hadjidakis to Danny Elfman to black metal, and musicians become characters mid-song.

This runs on its own logic — if you need concerts predictable and seated, look elsewhere. Nearest metro is Petralona. Door opens at 20:30.
