Vibraphonist Jacques Marugg, based in Greece since 2010, brings his Deep Vibes Sextet to Theatre of the No for one Sunday, playing music from the group's debut album. The set runs through his own jazz-blues-ethnic writing, with Anna Kapsouri, Leonidas Sarantopoulos, Yannis Papanastasiou, Chrysostomos Boukalis and Nikos Sidirokastritis rounding out the band.

A debut record gives a working sextet its first fixed identity, the result of more than a decade Marugg has spent developing this sound in Athens.

Expect around a hundred seats in the small room opposite City Hall, the metal-keyed vibraphone carrying melodies where a saxophone or trumpet usually would. Doors for the 20:30 start; tickets €12.
