Barbara Kruger's slogans — white-on-red block capitals that accuse, flatter, and interrogate whoever reads them — are mounted across the public spaces of the SNFCC through 1 November. This workshop takes them as raw material: two hours of exercises in how image and language negotiate meaning, drawn directly from the thirteen new pieces Kruger built for the site.

"Η εικόνα σε διαπραγμάτευση" (The Image in Negotiation) is open to adults and teenagers from 15 up, running 18:30 to 20:30. The 22 September session is the third and last of a limited three-part series — after 26 May and 16 June, the final pass before the Kruger commission comes down. Entry is open and unticketed, seated first-come, so arriving before the doors is the only way to hold a place.

If you want a passive gallery walk-through, this asks more of you. But if you want to argue with how pictures and words do their work, standing among the very signs that prompt the question, this is the closing session to do it in.
