The songs outlived their composer. Thanos Mikroutsikos spent decades turning poetry into melody — the seafaring verse of Nikos Kavvadias became his album Stavros tou Notou, and the political song of the 1970s and 80s became his signature — and on a July night five voices carry that catalogue up the hill. The tribute, billed «Panta Gelastoi kai Gelasmenoi», gathers Rita Antonopoulou, Yiannis Kotsiras, Dimitris Basis, Maria Papageorgiou and Miltos Paschalidis, with Thymios Papadopoulos — the musician Mikroutsikos kept closest — conducting.

This is an open-air night, and the Δημοτικό Θέατρο Λυκαβηττού is carved into the rock at the summit. No cars reach it on concert nights, so a free shuttle climbs from Sarantapichou Street between 19:00 and 21:30; bring a layer, because you feel the stone cool fast once the sun drops, even in July. Early-bird seats open at 18 EUR for the first 500 buyers and reach 22 EUR at the box office.

Five singers, one songbook, one summit — then the tribute tours north to Thessaloniki in September.
