This is a glendi — music that moves between table and dancefloor — built around skopoi (regional melodies) from Drama villages and from Kosti, a village in Northern Thrace that is the historic birthplace of the Anastenaria fire-walking tradition.

The instruments cross borders: Macedonian lyra and daire from Γιώργος Μαυρίδης, Thracian lyra and dauli from Βασίλης Κόκλας, gaida and tsambouna from Δημήτρης Σταγγώνης. Three pairs of regional instruments, often heard separately, programmed together for one night.

Horos Theatre in Botanikos is a theater stage rather than a music room — expect seated melodies and dance numbers from Drama and Thrace, with each pair of instruments taking its turn.
