What it is: Yako Trio — Leandros Pasias (piano), Vangelis Vrachnos (double bass), Giorgos Klountzos Chrysidis (drums) — bring their new album Woven to KET (Κέντρο Ελέγχου Τηλεοράσεων) on Kyprou Street.

Why it matters: Formed in 2016 in Thessaloniki, the trio braids cool-bop phrasing through Greek traditional figures and West African polyrhythm. Woven, recorded with Harris Lambrakis (ney) and James Wylie (saxophone), drew New York jazz-press attention on its tour cycle.

What to expect: A small-room concert at KET, the independent space Fotini Banou and Dimitris Alexakis founded in 2012 in a former black-and-white-TV repair workshop. The trio leans on current Woven material; close listening required.
