Full Moon Sleepover
On the night of Wednesday 29 July 2026 the July full moon climbs over Stavros Niarchos Park and, for once, the gates never close. The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center stays awake until sunrise: people carry blankets onto the lawn, claim a patch of grass before dark, and settle in for a night of films, headphones, and water that does not stop until the yoga mats appear at six the next morning. Full Moon Sleepover returns for a fourth summer, and the 2026 edition builds its all-night program around a Steven Spielberg film marathon on the open-air screen.

Under its Greek title "Vrikolakes," the play returns to Theatro RADAR on Friday 25 September 2026 at 21:00 for a third straight season, after a run that sold out through the previous year. Anastasia Papastathi both directs and performs, and she is RADAR's artistic director — this is a house production shaped by the person who runs the room.

Sarah Kane's "Cleansed" returns to the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation on 28 September 2026, opening its second consecutive season after a sold-out first run. Dimitris Karantzas directs the seven-actor ensemble: Christos Loulis as Tinker, Mairi Mina as Grace, Dimitris Kapourani as Graham, Natasa Exintavelon as Woman, Giorgos Zygouris as Rod, Nikolakis Zegkinoglou as Carl, and Thanasis Raftopulos as Robin. Kane wrote the play in 1998.

A young man stands accused of murdering a wealthy widow, the testimony stacks against him, and the one person who could clear him — his wife — takes the stand as a witness for the prosecution. Agatha Christie's courtroom thriller Μάρτυρας Κατηγορίας returns to the Dimitris Horn theatre for a fourth consecutive season, directed and adapted by Nikorestis Chaniotakis. The production started out at Theatro Anesis before settling at Horn, and the draw is structural: Christie wrote a new twist ending for the stage version, and the case turns on a single piece of evidence you watch the lawyers fight over in real time. If you want experimental staging, this is a straight, well-built whodunit.
