Ntenekedoupoli Xana: To Megalo Taxidi tou Meleniou is a children's musical theater production at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation in Tavros, Athens, on 3 March 2026. Eugenia Fakinou first built her tin-can city in 1975. Fifty years on, the Mikros Notos company stages the fourth installment with Yiannis Markopoulos's score performed live on improvised percussion and handmade instruments.

If your children expect digital polish, this deliberately strips it away. But if they respond to live music, puppet craft, and a story about growing up with very little, Melenios has been waiting.
