[ΡΩΓΜΕΣ] never reaches the main stage: Christina Kyriazidi performs it in the Foyer of the Dimotiko Theatro Peiraia, inside Lazarimos's 1895 building. Kyriazidi — theater-maker, poet, and musician working between Berlin and Athens, with eighteen solo productions, whose OBLIVION won Best International Performance at New York's United Solo Festival — conceives, directs, and performs this 43-minute choreodramatic ritual built on her own poetry. Rogmes means cracks: in movement and spoken word — Greek, Spanish, French, German — she passes through Phaedra, Antigone, Medea, a refugee woman, and Cocteau's Human Voice, over a score by Icelandic composer Smári Guðmundsson folding natural and industrial soundscapes into contemporary classical writing. After a spring 2026 tour to Buenos Aires and Salvador, it premieres Thursday 3 September 2026 — four performances only, through Sunday 6 September (20:30; Sunday 19:00), tickets 8-15 EUR; the metro stops at the theater's door. If you need plot and an interval, this resists you; if you want five women held by one performer at close range, take the seat. Four nights, then the cracks close.
