The Andreas Polyzogopoulos Trio plays Half Note Jazz Club with the drumless configuration Chet Baker used through his final decade — trumpet, piano, double bass, nothing pushing the pulse but the line itself. Polyzogopoulos is a Greek trumpeter who studied at the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam and has built a catalog around atmospheric writing: Heart of the Sun (a Pink Floyd tribute), Annica (composed after a ten-day silent meditation), and One Inch of Love. He is joined by Giorgos Kontrafouris on piano and Kostas Konstantinou on double bass.

Half Note has held its room on Trivonianou 17 in Mets since 1979. The setup matches Polyzogopoulos's format: table-and-bar service, fifteen to twenty euros at a table, ten to fifteen at the bar.
