One man, one stage, and the Greek family laid out for dissection: in Strakastroukes, the actor and songwriter Dimitris Samolis turns the 'holy' Greek household into a solo show that swings between comedy and something more bruising.

It is Samolis' first play as a writer, directed by Marios Kakoullis, and it sold out three straight seasons in Athens. This Papagou date is not just another stop; it is the opening night of the 2026 summer tour, before the show heads to Larisa, Volos and on toward Crete in August.

If you want spectacle or a big ensemble, this is not that night; Strakastroukes lives or dies on one performer holding a garden full of people.
