Romantikoi kai Epanastates is a chamber concert at the Parnassos Literary Society on Karitsi Square, central Athens, on 21 April 2026. The Athens Classical Players — a string ensemble from the State Orchestra of Athens — perform Shostakovich's Chamber Symphony in C minor alongside Beethoven's String Quartet No. 1, both arranged for string orchestra.

The program pairs the nineteenth-century innovator with the twentieth-century revitalizer. Both works started as quartets and arrive here expanded for twelve strings inside a hall that has hosted concerts since 1865.
