Forty years after its 1986 release, Rob Reiner's «Στάσου Πλάι Μου» (Stand by Me) gets a Sensory Friendly open-air screening on the SNFCC Xefoto lawn in Kallithea, Athens — Park Your Cinema Kids, Friday 4 September 2026, 20:30, open entry.

The screening, presented with TheHappyAct, is adapted for autistic viewers and anyone with sensory processing differences: lower sound intensity in set seating zones, and nobody shushes a child who needs to move. The film is the program's anniversary piece — Stephen King's novella The Body turned into four boys walking the train tracks one late-1950s summer, with a young River Phoenix — and it plays in English with Greek subtitles.
