Inside the Despotopoulos-designed Bauhaus building of the Athens Conservatoire — founded in 1871, alumni list including Maria Callas and Mikis Theodorakis — classical guitarist Ntinos Papadimitriou takes the stage.
Papadimitriou has been based in Athens since 2018, splitting time between concert work and engineering studies at the National Technical University of Athens. His recital programmes have ranged across Bach, Poulenc, Milhaud, Ponce and Barrios — baroque, French twentieth century, and Latin American repertoire.
The Conservatoire houses multiple halls, including the 820-seat main concert hall and the smaller Aris Garoufalis Auditorium for recitals. Central Athens, metro-accessible. Programme and ticket details via the Conservatoire's announcements.
